This policy explains what personal data QatarEOR collects, why we collect it, and the rights you have. It applies to this website and to our services.

QatarEOR provides Employer of Record, payroll and work-permit sponsorship services in Qatar. When we act as the employer of record for your staff, we process employee personal data as part of delivering that service. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean QatarEOR.
We collect information you give us directly and information generated when you use our site or services, including:
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, provide and administer our services, sponsor and process work permits and residence permits, run compliant payroll, meet legal and regulatory obligations in Qatar, and improve our website. We process employee data on the documented instructions of the client for whom we act as employer of record, alongside our own legal duties as the sponsoring employer.
We process data where it is necessary to deliver a service you have requested, to comply with a legal obligation, or with your consent. We share data only where needed to deliver the service: with Qatari government bodies such as the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Interior and the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, with banks for WPS payroll, and with insurers. We do not sell personal data.
Qatar was the first Gulf state to enact a general data-protection law: the Personal Data Privacy Protection Law, Law No. 13 of 2016, overseen by the National Data Privacy Office. The law requires that personal data be processed fairly, lawfully and transparently, limited to what is necessary, and kept secure. Individuals have rights to be informed about processing and to object to processing that causes harm, and certain data described as being of a special nature, such as health, ethnicity and criminal records, needs additional safeguards and permits. Where we process personal data in Qatar, we do so in line with these requirements, and we apply comparable standards of care to data we handle in the course of cross-border service delivery.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by Qatari law. Payroll and employment records are retained for the periods set by the Labour Law and related regulation, which for payroll records is ten years. Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is held for a limited period and then deleted.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Access to employee data is restricted to staff who need it to deliver the service.
Subject to Qatari law, you may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Our site uses only the cookies needed to function and to understand basic, aggregated usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
